There are no hidden booking fees and all bookings made via Simply Owners carry a 100% payment protection guarantee. 

 As a guest in our home we are personally committed to helping you with the whole booking process.

Simply Owners acts purely as a secure platform to make initial contact with us, once you have made contact we will take over the whole of your booking process.

A message sent to us via Simply Owners creates a contact thread which then permits us to authorise a Simply Owners Payment Protection Certificate thus protecting your payment and booking from fraud should you decide to proceed with a booking.

Once you have made contact and requested a Saturday to Saturday week(s) we will generate an invoice equal to 50% of of the cost of your chosen week, this will be emailed or posted to you along with a booking form and the Terms & Conditions plus some cottage details. At this point we will place a 7 day hold on your chosen week(s) if we do not hear back from with a completed booking form and your deposit within the 7 days your chosen date will be released back onto the booking calendar and your details destroyed.

Should you decide to go ahead with the booking we will issue a receipt for your payment, a Simply Owners Payment Protection Certificate and a welcome letter. 

Eight weeks before your stay we will email you again with a second invoice for the remaining 50% plus the returnable good housekeeping deposit (GHD) this payment becomes payable 6 weeks before your stay.

Once we receive your final payment (and GHD) we will confirm your booking, issue a receipt and send you the directions and key safe code.

Payment is strictly by bank transfer or cheque. 

Please Note: Short notice enquiries for bookings with less than eight weeks until the start of the stay vary slightly in that the whole amount must be paid at the time of booking.

All bookings incur a good housekeeping deposit of £250.00 returnable within 14 days of your stay providing the cottage is left in good clean order with no damage, in most cases we are able to refund the GHD on the day of your departure.

We are sorry but due to damage we have incurred at the cottage over recent years we are no longer accepting babies or children and regrettably no groups of young people under the age of 25. 

We do get very busy with many loyal guests returning year on year, for that reason we do recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
