This website has no facility for booking your stay, the purpose of this site is to provide more information about the cottage and the surrounding area.

There are no hidden booking fees and all bookings made via Simply Owners carry a 100% payment protection guarantee.
Kindly Note before reading on ... Due to the location and the availability of a caretaker our bookings are Saturday to Saturday only. However late arrival and early departure within your booking timeframe is facilitated with self check in /out.
We are personally committed to helping guests with the whole booking process so please do get in touch if your not sure or require some help with the booking process or any aspect of your stay.
Simply Owners acts as a secure platform for you to make initial contact with us, once a potential guest has made contact we will take over the whole booking process.
A message sent to us via Simply Owners creates a contact thread which in turn permits us to authorise a Simply Owners Payment Protection Certificate thus protecting any payment and booking from fraud should the booking proceed.
Once a potential guest has made contact and requested an available Saturday to Saturday week(s) we will generate an invoice equal to 50% of of the cost of the chosen week. The invoice will be emailed or posted out along with a booking form and the Terms & Conditions plus some cottage details.
At this point we will place a 7 day hold on the chosen week(s) if we do not hear back from with a completed booking form and the deposit within the 7 days the chosen date will be released back onto the booking calendar and any held details will be destroyed.
Once a guest decides to go ahead with a booking and pays the deposit we issue a welcome letter, a receipt for payment, and a Simply Owners Payment Protection Certificate.
Eight weeks before the stay we send out an email with a second invoice for the remaining 50% plus the returnable good housekeeping deposit (GHD) this payment becomes payable 6 weeks before the chosen stay.
Once we receive the final payment (and GHD) we will confirm the booking, issue a receipt and send out the directions and key safe code.
Payment is via bank transfer or over the phone card card payment.
Please Note:
Short notice enquiries for bookings with less than eight weeks until the start of the stay vary slightly in that the whole amount must be paid at the time of booking.
All bookings incur a good housekeeping deposit of £250.00 returnable within 7 days of the stay providing the cottage is left in good clean order with no damage, in most cases we are able to refund the GHD on the day of departure.

We cannot accommodate babies, children, or persons under the age of 18 and regrettably no groups of young people under the age of 25.
We do get very busy with many loyal guests returning year on year, for that reason we do recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
